Sam Smith began writing contemporary novels in her late teens, drawn to timeless themes of love and human connection. Her debut, Harbor Nights, was published in 1994, marking the start of a long and successful literary career. Over the years, she has continued to craft manuscripts that explore the nuances of romance alongside themes of betrayal, faith, and destiny.
Sam’s novels often delve into the complexities of relationships and personal growth, rendered with emotional depth and honesty. Her raw, intimate style—infused with vivid descriptions—lays bare the intricacies of human nature and the vulnerabilities of the heart.
At the center of her work is love—a force that binds, challenges, and redeems. In her stories, love and fate are inseparable, weaving together worlds where every bond feels destined and every moment carries weight. Through her enchanting narratives, Sam Smith transports readers into realms where passion and destiny meet, capturing the very essence of romance.

With gentle hands and a heart so true, I nurture, love, both old and new. In every paw, in every purr, a loyal bond, no need to stir. Through sleepless nights and joyful days, I stand by you in countless ways. A love that's pure, a bond that's tight, in your soft eyes, I find my light.

I’m grateful for each and every hour, minute, and second God sends my way.
Still, I am partial to Sunrise & Sunset—needless to say, my favorite color is orange.

I’ll Meet You Halfway found me in Spring 2025, as I roamed through Back To Good. I wrestled to capture the ache between Jason and Jenny—until this song, which I looped until its melody seeped into me, and eventually, within its chords, I found the heartbeat of their love—where hurt and hope entwine.
I listened to—I’ll Meet You Halfway so much, I began to love it.
Now, months later, I still can’t stop playing it.
Yeah! I know 🤪

We Can Rule The World - Stardust found me in summer 2025, as I waded deep into the love between Tom and Amy while writing His Lonely Mind. I was growing increasingly worried that Tom’s character was too vulnerable to build a strong foundation. So, I tuned into this song, looping it endlessly as I searched for the right path forward. It took time, but eventually, I saw the light.
🤩 Oh—What—Wow 🤩
And yes—
I'm captivated with the song.

Always on My Mind—is my go-to track on days when my mind urges my fingers to fly across my keyboard at ninety words per minute, either because I’m inspired, or behind—
I don’t know—
I only know—
the wheels in my head are always turning.
Anyway, I love this particular video because it’s the longest version I could find—
no interlude, no restarting, just uninterrupted flow.

Sister Christian - Live & Acoustic -
24 Strings & a Drummer
No reason for this song—
only the love of its rawness,
its purity,
the way it simply is.
To say I saved the best for last
would only be opinion,
for we each carry songs
that mean more than words can tell.
So let me just write—
I added this song
because I wanted to,
because I could,
because my heart said so.
